Everyone in my family loves to go camping except for me because I do not like to sleep outdoors :). We figured this would be a good compromise since my dad could sleep in his camper outside, and I could sleep inside a cabin.
Jellystone Park has locations all over the United States, and they actually have two in Colorado. My sister has camped here before and also been to the one in Delaware. They have campsite there for RVs, places for tents, and cabins. You can even rent an RV to stay in there! My dad and Jocelyn slept in the camper, Jose, Jordan and I slept in the bed in the bedroom in the cabin, and then Jasmine, my sister, my stepmom, and Garrett all slept in the loft above the bedroom.
The cabin was nice because it had a bathroom, shower, and a full kitchen. We were also right in the front of the park, so we were near everything.

My dad had a blast playing with the kids at the playground. There was also a pool there, but it wasn't warm enough for us to use.
We had to make our smores in the microwave since there was a statewide fire ban going on. They were still delicious!
US with Yogi Bear. Jordan was afraid of him, but the other three kids went right up to him.
Every morning and evening, Yogi Bear comes out and raises the flag and takes it down. We also said the Pledge of Allegiance and then danced with Yogi to the Yogi Pokey.
They also have a miniature golf course there. The kids had a blast swinging the clubs, and Garrett kept throwing his ball into the bushes.

They also had arts and crafts. We made spirals to hang up out of paper plates.

After we checked out on Sunday, we drove into Estes Park to go shopping and walk around. My dad and stepmom took Tina's kids back to Denver with them and my sister joined us for some sightseeing.
It was a wonderful trip, and a lot of fun for the kids. We have already talked about making this a yearly tradition. We can't wait to go again!
