Lupus Walk and the Ritz-Carlton Family Picnic - May 22nd

This year was the third annual Lupus Walk in Denver.  Last year I wasn't able to walk since it was a week before my due date and it was pouring rain.  This year it was at City Park, so we had a nice walk in the morning, and then went to the zoo afterwards since it was right next door.

 My sorority sister Emily came down to walk with us, as she has done in the past with me :).

This was the first year that my dad was able to come out and walk with us.

 Group shot.  Unfortunately someone else took the picture so we are so far away!  My friend Christine and her son Jace also came out to walk even though she was about a week away from giving birth.

After the walk and then the zoo, we went over to the Ritz-Carlton for Jose's company family picnic.  These are always a lot of fun, and the food is always delicious!
